Abstract:

To prevent the transmission of a torque variation caused by switching a driving source in a hybrid car having an engine and a motor generator.

An engine E/G 10 is connected to a torque converter T/C 18 through a connecting clutch 14. A motor generator M/G 16 is connected to the torque converter T/C 18 through an M/G connecting clutch 15. When switching a driving source, before switching the driving source, an ECU 22 puts a lockup clutch of the torque converter T/C 18 in an unengaged state to prevent the transmission of a torque variation caused by switching the driving source. When switching the driving source, the torque variation is restrained by synchronizing a rotating speed of a starting driving source with a rotating speed of an actuating driving source.
