PURPOSE: To eliminate electric leakage caused by corrosion, by a method wherein a warm air supply unit, which supplies warm air into a fixed drum, is mounted at a specified place on the fixed drum, and warm air inlet holes are provided on a rotary drum to heat up washing liquid in the rotary drum.

CONSTITUTION: A fixed drum 2 in which washing liquid is stored is fixed in a washing machine main body 1. A rotary drum 12, where laundry can be accommodated and washing liquid can go into and out, is horizontally supported in the fixed drum 2 so as to be able to rotate. A warm air supply unit 32 consisting of an air fan 34, a suction fan 35, a heater 36, a circulation pipe 37 and others is installed at a specified position on the fixed drum to supply warm air into the fixed drum 2. Vent holes 12b are provided on the rotary drum 12 to introduce warm air into the rotary drum 12 and heat up washing liquid in the rotary drum 12. As a result, electric leakage is prevented from occurring unlike conventional machines, and built-in safety devices such as an earth leakage breaker become unnecessary to be provided.
