Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor in which generation of a charging lateral stripe and generation of a black spot are suppressed in repetitively using for a long period under a low temperature and low humidity environment.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a support body, an undercoat layer and a photosensitive layer in this order, the undercoat layer contains binder resin, zinc oxide particles (P1) in a range of particle diameter of 20-40nm, and zinc oxide particles (P2) in a range of particle diameter of 45-65nm, a total amount of content of total zinc oxide particles in the undercoat layer is 200-350 mass % for the binder resin in the undercoat layer, the total amount of content of the P2 and the P1 in the undercoat layer is 50-100 number % for total content of the zinc oxide particles in the undercoat layer, content of the P1 in the undercoat layer is 5-60 number % for the total amount of content of the P2 and the P1 in the undercoat layer, and a difference between a most frequent value of a particle diameter of the P2 in the undercoat layer and a most frequent value of a particle diameter of the P1 is more than or equal to 10nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
