PURPOSE: To prevent waste from being caused and to reduce the running cost of a device by providing the device with a structure that a common cartridge can be inserted in a toner supply port and a discharged toner recovery port and using a cartridge for supplying toner also as a cartridge for recovering discharged toner.

CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic recording device 1 is provided with the toner supply port 2 in which the cartridge for supplying the toner for developing is inserted so as to supply the toner on the upper surface of the device, and the discharged toner recovery port 3 in which the cartridge for recovering the discharged toner removed by a cleaner so as to recover the discharged toner on the lower surface of the device. A projected part 12a turning the inner cover of the supply port or the inner cover of the recovery port by pushing up an inner cover locking pawl provided at the toner supply port 2 and the inner cover locking pawl provided at the toner recovery port 3 is formed on the cartridge 12. Furthermore, the cartridge in which the discharged toner has been already recovered can not be reloaded.
