Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a composition having good extension when coating the one on the skin, excellent sense of use and good preservation stability, and useful as a cleansing cosmetic, a massage cosmetic, etc., by including a specific surfactant, a specified water-soluble polymer, an oil component and water.
SOLUTION: This emulsion composition comprises (A) 0.1-40 wt.% one or not less than two kinds selected from polyoxyalkylene-hardened castor oil (e.g. polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil), a fatty acid ester of polyoxyalkylene- hardened caster oil (e.g. polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil monolaurate), (B) 0.1-40 wt.% polyoxyalkyleneglyceryl fatty acid ester (e.g. polyoxyethyleneglyceryl monoisostearate), (C) 0.01-5 wt.% water-soluble polymer having carboxyl group in the molecule (e.g. pectin), (D) 0.1-80 wt.% oil component such as a silicone oil, and (E) water.
