To provide an endoscope guide capable of preventing contamination of the distal end of an endoscope when inserted into a body cavity, expanding the muscular body cavity, applicable to a simple-structured endoscope, and capable of being manufactured inexpensively.
The endoscope guide 30 takes in the image inside the body cavity from the distal end of a flexible linear image taking device 40. The endoscope guide 30 can be attached to the endoscope 20 which transmits the taken image to a display device 50 so as to be displayed, for guiding the image taking device 40 inside the body cavity. In the endoscope guide 30, the image taking device 40 has a length large enough to be inserted into the body cavity. The endoscope guide 30 comprises a tubular part 31 into which the image taking device 40 is inserted, and a distal end part 37 attached to the distal end of the tubular part 31. The distal end part 37 is spherically formed, formed with a recess 371 on the body cavity insertion side of the spherical distal end, for positioning and exposing the distal end of the image taking device 40 at the bottom of the recess 371.
