To provide an extrusion force measuring device for a coke extruder for accurately measuring a nominal extrusion force 8 exclusive of the influence of individual characteristic resistance values inherent in respective furnaces to grasp the respective conditions in the furnaces and detect abnormal nominal extrusion force.
This extrusion force measuring device for a coke extruder which has such a structure that the advancing/retreating rack 1' mounted on a coke extrusion beam 1 and for the beam 1 is engaged with a reversibly turning pinion 2 for driving use, has such a scheme that a machine frame 3 is mounted with a bearing support table 4 for the pinion 2, the bearing 2' for the pinion 2 is supported between load cells 5 and 5' set up respectively on the support surfaces 4' and 4" of the table 4 standing perpendicularly against each other, and the respective reactive forces of the advancing force 6 and the retreating force 7 of the rack 1' are measured.
