Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform fast reading within an available and safety range as effectively preventing the reading defect of an original when another processing is executed in parallel by rotating a reading motor within pull-in torque by decreasing the rotating speed of the motor when another processing is executed in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: In a mode where only an operation to accumulate by reading a transmission original in image memory 11 is performed, a main CPU 2004 issues a fast reading command to a sub CPU 2002 when the transmission original is accumulated in the image memory 11 at high speed. At this time, the sub CPU 2002 rotates a motor 106 at high speed within pull-out torque by applying acceleration control. In a dual access mode i.e., an operating mode where a communication operation, the print of a reception image, or that of a communication managing report, etc., other than reading and an accumulation operation are performed simultaneously, the main CPU 2004 issues a constant speed reading command separately. The sub CPU 2002 decreases the rotating speed of the motor 106, and rotates it within the pull-in torque.
