PURPOSE: To make it possible to send-pictures of communication evidence information and monitor information and to make picture reception control easy, by separating a facsimile picture sending mechanism by functions and then by supporting them according to transmission procedure.

CONSTITUTION: In the transmitting circuit, control part 107 makes count information of counter 103, counting sent sheets of paper, one by one, and an oscillating terminal ID code into character information, which is transferred to communication control part 111 by way of sent picture processing part 108. By the indication of control circuit 116, control part 111 processes the information as control information on facsimile picture information according to the transmission control procedure. In the reception part, a picture signal and the control information passed through the circuit are detected by input-output switching detecting circuit 115 and then inputted to communication control part 112, which discriminates between the control information and picture information according to the indication procedure of circuit 116. Received-picture processing part 109 having received the control information for the communication evidence prints out the control information on communication evidence roll paper 101 and the received picture on copying screen roll paper 102.
