Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fire hydrant device in which trouble is not caused when taking a hose and a fire extinguisher even when the fire hydrant device is installed so as to be buried in a watchman passage, and also quick firefighting is made possible.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant device 1 concerning the present invention includes a body part 11 having a hose storage unit 5 for laying and storing a hose 3 being in a wound state and having a box shape with an upper surface opened, and also a top plate part 13 for covering an upper surface opening of the body part 11. The fire hydrant device 1 is characterized in that the top plate part 13 has a side part of a far side being mounted in a turning manner and capable of being opened and closed. The device includes a gas spring 39 for biasing the top plate part 13 in the normally-opened door direction, a latch 55 and a latch mechanism 61 being locked in a releasable manner at multiple places of the body part 11 in a closing state of the top plate part 13, and operation units 51, 53, 59 provided at the top plate part 13 and operating the locking of the multiple locking parts in a simultaneously releasable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
