Abstract:
To easily provide a forming method for a drum with a boss, being lightweight and having high rigidity.
A discoid metallic thick plate is subjected to a series of cold-press forming composed of burring, coining, drawing, and extrusion. The drum is formed by giving a uniform working ratio to the outer periphery, the inner periphery, and the bottom part of the drum.
