Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction roller type reduction gear which can transmit axial thrust forces of a loading cam to traction faces of a sun roller and intermediate rollers without waste.SOLUTION: A friction roller type reduction gear 100 comprises: a sun roller 13 which is arranged coaxially with an input shaft 11; a ring gear 15 connected to an output shaft 19; a plurality of intermediate rollers 17 which rollingly contact with an external peripheral face of the sun roller 13 and an internal peripheral face of the ring gear 15; and a loading cam mechanism 21 for imparting a pressing force proportional to a magnitude of transmission torque which acts on a rolling contact face between the rollers. The loading cam mechanism 21 has a cam mechanism for generating the pressing force by converting a rotational movement around the input shaft transmitted from the input shaft 11 to the axial movement of one cam-side sun roller electric 33. The one cam-side sun roller element 33 is movably arranged via a plurality of rolling bodies 23 between the input shaft 11 and itself in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
