Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating wet refuse, in which the scorch of the wet refuse is avoided. SOLUTION: This wet refuse treating method is carried out by heating the wet refuse (2) housed in a treating tank (4) by the combustion heat of gaseous fuel (G), guiding the steam (43) generated in the tank (4) by the combustion heat to a cooling means (a condenser 44) to cool the steam (43) and returning the cooled steam to the tank (4). The combustion degree of each of burning means (burners 20, 21) is controlled according to the inlet temperature of the steam (43) in the cooling means. Since the combustion degree is controlled by detecting the temperature of exhaust gas from the tank (4) or that of the steam, the scorch of the wet refuse can be avoided.
