To provide a heat control method capable of detecting disconnection of respective heaters joined by delta connection in a garbage treatment apparatus using a three-phase power source.
This garbage treatment apparatus comprises a triple number of heaters of a same system and grouped in a plurality of heater groups each arranged by setting the same number of heaters (1a, 1b, 1c), (2a, 2b, 2c) and (3a, 3b, 3c) between respective phases U, V, and W by delta connection; electric current detection means (11a, 11b, 11c) for detecting the electric current values of the respective phases of the plurality of the heater groups; and drive means (5a, 5b, 5c), (7a, 7b, 7c), and (9a, 9b, 9c) for controlling the electric power to be supplied to the heaters between the respective phases. The garbage treatment apparatus employs a three-phase power source for detecting the heat which is disconnected by switching the power supply to the respective heater groups and detecting the electric current values of the respective phases by the current detection means.
