To provide a gas machine which can drive with high efficiency by making use of the expansion work of gas, and to provide a vehicle using the same, and a method for driving the gas machine.
A control part 101 operates a valve device 20 so as to switch a closed state and a high-pressure state only when a gas chamber 7 and a high-pressure source 14 are in the substantially same pressure states, to switch the closed state and a low-pressure state only when the gas chamber and a low-pressure source 15 are in the substantially same pressure states, and to switch the low-pressure state and the high-pressure state only when the volume of the gas chamber 7 is minimum. The control part changes timing for switching the closed state and the high-pressure state, and the closed state and the low-pressure state by the valve device, and thus the generation of torque for a rotary shaft 6 is controlled.
