Abstract:
To provide a gateway that can transmit an audible tone, which is equal to that sent by a subscriber exchange in a public line to a caller side, to a caller side communication terminal in response to a communication state of a called party side communication terminal.
The gateway of this invention is characterized in the provision of a pseudo audible tone transmission means that can transmit a pseudo audible tone, which is equivalent to an audible tone sent by a subscriber exchange in a public line to a caller side, to a caller side communication terminal in response to a communication state of a called party side communication terminal.
