To provide a hot blast generator which obtains stable hot blast even when lumber is used as a material and controls the combustion state of the fuel thereby stably sending the hot blast over a long period.
A hot blast generator 10 includes: a combustion furnace 11 for combusting a fuel such as woody pellets; and a device body 12 in which the combustion furnace is disposed therein, the device body 12 which sends out hot blast generated by heating air supplied from the exterior by a peripheral wall of the combustion furnace. A dome type hearth 13 for holding and combusting the fuel and an agitation movable body 14 which is erected on the dome type hearth and agitates the fuel on and around the dome type hearth are provided at the bottom surface side of the combustion furnace to which the fuel 11a is dropped.
