Abstract:
To provide a seal material pressing tool and a seal material pressing method which can push a seal material to a joint with an appropriate push-in amount.SOLUTION: A seal material pushing tool 10 for pushing a seal material 25 to a joint 24 between adjacent exterior wall surface materials 22 includes: a stretchable telescopic pole 11; a roller fitting part 12 mounted to the tip side of the telescopic pole 11; and a roller 13 rotatably mounted to the roller mounting part 12. The roller 13 pushes the seal material 25 to the joint 24 by rotational movement to the length direction of the joint 24. On the outer peripheral surface of the roller 13, projection parts 19 are provided on each of both ends in a width direction of the roller 13. Each of the projection parts 19 extend over the whole region in the peripheral direction of the roller 13. Each of the projection parts 19 push both ends in the width direction of the cover part 25b of the seal material 25 to each of the exterior wall surface materials 22 from the outdoor side, at the time of rotational movement of the roller 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
