Title:
HYDROGEN CHLORIDE GAS SCAVENGING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2769273
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simply solve a problem such as environmental deterioration due to hydrogen chloride gas by efficiently removing hydrogen chloride gas.
CONSTITUTION: A porous calcium silicate hydrate particulate material to be used is obtained by a method wherein an aluminum powder is added to and mixed with a slurry containing a main raw material consisting of a silica raw material of 65% and a lime raw material of 35% and the resulting mixture is foamed to be cured and aged by high temp. and high pressure steam to obtain an inorg. porous particulate material and this material is ground to be adjusted in particle size. The obtained particulate material is brought into contact with hydrogen chloride gas by passing hydrogen chloride gas through a particulate material packed bed or by bringing the particulate material into contact with the hydrogen chloride gas in a fluidized state.
