A camera 100 comprises: subject specifying means that specifies a subject in an image on the basis of output data from an image sensor; area data acquisition means that acquires, as area data, data output from a partial pixel area including the subject specified by the subject specifying means within the whole pixel area of the image sensor; display control means that displays an image of the area data acquired by the area data acquisition means in an enlarged manner; and change means that changes a set position of the partial pixel area for acquiring the area data depending on a change in the subject between frames.
