Abstract:
To provide an image display device which includes a screen made of a film with a fine uneven pattern including a lens having a substantially-vertical plane and in which the utilization efficiency of light is improved.SOLUTION: An image display device comprises: display light emission means (1); and a screen made of a film (2) with a fine uneven pattern. The film with a fine uneven pattern includes a plurality of lenses (10L) made of protrusions and recesses having a substantially-vertical plane (S1) and a curved plane (S2) on one surface. The film (2) with a fine uneven pattern is arranged in a flat state or in such a state that at least a portion is curved in the image display device. For any one lens, when a ratio of light incident on the substantially-vertical plane of the light emitted from the display light emission means and incident on one lens is defined as a loss ratio (%), the loss ratio is equal to or less than 5% in the lenses in the number equal to or greater than 50% with respect to the total number of the lenses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
