Abstract:
To provide a mechanism to perform thickening processing of an object regardless of a color of a line even when black overprint is effective.SOLUTION: One embodiment of the present invention is an image formation device that includes control means for controlling whether or not thickening processing of thickening an object on an upper layer and an object on a lower layer is performed, on the basis of a raster operation code of specifying drawing processing when the object on the upper layer and the object on the lower layer in image data included in a printing job overlap each other, in which the control means does not perform the thickening processing when a value of the raster operation code is MERGEPEN and the color of the object on the upper layer is not black, and performs the thickening processing when the value is MERGEPEN and when the color of the object on the upper layer is black and a pure black function is applied to the black.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
