Abstract:
PURPOSE:To correct the dispersion in an output signal by providing a drive means driving a solid-state image pickup element under the same condition simultaneously and an arithmetic means calculating an output signal from the solid-state image pickup element and a reference signal from the solid-state image pickup element for reference. CONSTITUTION:The solid-state image pickup element 13, 14 are driven in the same condition and timing by a drive circuit 16 consisting of horizontal and vertical scanning circuits or the like. The output signal obtained in response to the optical image of an object by the solid-state image pickup element 13 is led to a preamplifier 17 and the reference signal from the solid-state image pickup element 14 is led to a preamplifier 18 having the same electric characteristic as that of the preamplifier 17 and they are respectively amplified. The output signal from the preamplifiers 17, 18 is subjected to subtraction processing by a differential amplifier 19, the output signal of which is inputted to a video signal encoder 20, where the signal is encoded and outputted from the video signal. Thus, the dispersion in the output signal due to FPN of the solid-state image pickup element is corrected with a board band without any quantization error and less effect of the fluctuation of the operation environment such as bias condition or temperature.
