Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain as new compound useful for radiolabelling of macromolecules such as monoclonal antibodies or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A complex of 99mTc with a ligand L of formula I (R is H, OH, an alkyl or the like, R and R1 together form mono-, di-, tri- or tetra- methylene; R and R3 together form mono-, di-, tri- or tetra-methylene; R1, R2 are each H, OH, an alkyl, carboxy, an aryl or the like, or R1, R2 together form tetra- or penta-methylene; R3-R5 are each H, OH, an alkyl, carboxy or the like, but at least one of R3-R5 is a hydroxyalkyl; (n) is 0-2), e.g. N-[bis(hydroxymethyl)methyl]glycine, is obtained by reacting a functionalized acid derivative of formula II (X is a reactive group) with bis(hydroxymethyl) methylamine in the presence of a base.
