Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce cost by easily manufacturing an inflater bag and an inflater bag module.
SOLUTION: An inflater 20 is mounted on a central plate 114 of one seat element 112 made of a steel plate. Folding plates 116a-116d connected to four sides of the central plate 114 are folded in that order so as to cover the inflater 20. Thus, the inflater 20 is enveloped with the seat element 112 while securing a margin space around it. In that state, the overlapped portions formed by folding the folding plates 116a-116d are fixed to the stud bolts 21, which are protrusively arranged on the inflater 20, by means of nuts 23. Thus, the inflater bag 110 having the inflater 20 built in is configured and a gap 132 brought about by the folding is left as a relief space for the gas after the expansion and development of the inflater bag.
