Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inhibitors of flaviviridae viruses.SOLUTION: There are provided: compounds of Formula I; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof. The compounds, compositions, and methods provided are useful for the treatment of Flaviviridae virus infections, particularly hepatitis C infections. In another aspect, there is provided a method for treating or preventing HCV comprising administering an effective amount of the compound of Formula I to a patient in need thereof. In another aspect, there is provided the use of the compound of the present invention for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of HCV.
