Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use the energy of column-top steam in the concentration part and thereby enhance the energy saving effect by providing a heat exchange means which exchanges heat between the column-top steam (product steam) of the concentration part and a feedstock liquid at a boiling point temperature which is appropriate to the concentration of the liquid.
SOLUTION: Heat is transferred from a concentration part 4 on the high pressure side to a recovery part 5 on the low pressure side and a feedstock liquid at a boiling point temperature appropriate to the concentration of the liquid is supplied to the column-top of the recovery part 5 after exchanging heat between the feedstock liquid and the column-top steam by a heat exchange 20. At the same time, the column-top steam is condensed using the heat exchanger 20 to be delivered to the outside as a product. In addition, the column-top steam of the recovery part 5 is supplied to the column-top side of the concentration part 4 on the high pressure side passing through a compression means 21. Further, the bottoms of the recovery part 5 is partially discharged to the outside as bottoms and the remainder is returned to the column bottom of the recovery part 5 passing through a reboiler 22. The bottoms of the concentration part 4 are supplied to the recovery part 5 through a flow rate adjusting valve 23. Thus heat retained by the column-top steam of the concentration part 4 is efficiently used.
