CONSTITUTION: This journal has such a scheme that, a coaxial annular space 11 is furnished between a bearing 7 and a hollow shaft 5 supporting a hollow roll 2 and intended for feeding a heating medium into the hollow roll 2; the annular space 11 4s formed by the two annular walls of the hollow shaft 5 at least on a support for the bearing 7; wherein it is preferable that the annular space 11 is formed by annular grooves recessed from the edge face of this journal and also filled with a thermal insulation material.
