To provide a laminated electrophotographic photoreceptor which has layers of a pigment vapor deposition film and a charge transfer layer and which shows high sensitivity for semiconductor laser light and excellent stability for repeated use in the photoreceptor characteristics such as sensitivity and electrification property.
Oxotitanium phthalocyanine is vapor deposited to 0.1 μm thickness on a conductive substrate 2 in 10-5 to 10-6Torr vacuum. This vapor deposition film is dipped in a water-added solvent comprising ethylene glycolalkyletheracetate-water, propyleneglycol alkyletheracetate-water, ethyleneglycoldiacetate-water or θ-butylolactone-water. Then the charge transfer layer 5 is formed on the charge producing layer 4 comprising the oxotitanium phthalocyanine vapor deposition film after the dipping treatment to obtain the laminated electrophotographic photoreceptor.
