To provide a latch receiver, in which the working of a frame body is restricted minimally, the labor hours of the working of the frame body is lightened and installation is simplified while the manufacturing cost of a latch housing section is reduced, the vibrations and abnormal sound of a latch are absorbed and the looseness-stop of each section and silence are improved.
A latch housing section 4, in which an overhanging piece 10 is protruded to the outside and a latch can be inserted into the inside, is installed. A latch striker 12, to which an opening window 14 communicated with the latch housing section 4 is formed, is mounted. The latch housing section 4 is housed in a recessed hole 3 formed to a frame body 1, and the overhanging piece 10 and the latch striker 12 are superposed and arranged and set up to the frame body 1. The overhanging piece 10 and the latch striker 12 are stuck and disposed onto the end face of the frame body 1. A projecting section 13 is formed to the surface of the latch striker 12, and the overhanging piece 10 is housed between the internal surface of the projecting section 13 and the end face of the frame body 1.
