Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability even further by a simple structure, regarding a luminaire by a surface light source using a light guide plate.SOLUTION: A luminaire includes: a primary light source 12; a light guide plate 11 which makes emission light of the primary light source 12 enter from an incident surface 11A and which emits it from an emission surface 11B after internally transmitting it; a reflection member 16 arranged on a back surface 11C of the light guide plate 11, for reflecting the light leaking from the back surface 11C of the light guide plate 11 and for allowing it to re-enter the light guide plate 11. By directivity in which the direction obliquely inclined to the direction of internal transmission from a normal direction of the emission surface 11B of the light guide plate 11 becomes the main emission direction of the emission light, the emission light is emitted from the light guide plate 11, and without changing the main emission direction of the emission light from the light guide plate 11, the emission light of the luminaire 1 is emitted by the directivity in which the direction obliquely inclined to the direction of internal transmission with respect to the normal direction of the emission surface 11B becomes the main emission direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
