The lighting fixture for vehicle is provided with an HID lamp and an optical system which irradiates light for forming a prescribed light distribution pattern using light including yellow light emitted downward out of the light emitted from the HID lamp. The lighting fixture for vehicle has a colored lens arranged in the irradiation direction of the optical system, and the colored lens absorbs yellow light out of the light from the HID lamp and the colored lens is constituted so that the prescribed light distribution pattern is contained within the range of the formulas in an xy chromaticity diagram. y=0.150+0.640x, y=0.440, x=0.500, y=0.382, y=0.050+0.750x, x=0.310.
