Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve productivity and an appearance of lighting for a vehicle by arranging a waterproof rib so that it surrounds a joint part, partitioning plural light bodies so as to tightly seal the joint part, with a vehicle body, and forming a lateral hole in the joint part by a cut-off part, between a male mold and a female mold moving along the pulling direction of the joint part.
CONSTITUTION: In a housing 2 of lighting 1 for a vehicle, for example, two light bodies 3, 4 are integrally formed via a joint part, 5, and a step part 6a and a hook part 7a are formed in each of lenses 6, 7. A waterproof rib 2a is arranged on the outer circumference of the housing 2, while a joint part, waterproof rib 2b surrounding the joint part 5 is arranged, and each of the waterproof rib 2a and the joint part waterproof rib 2b is brought into contact with a vehicle body 20 via a packing 21, and consequently, the joint part, 5 is tightly sealed. On the other hand, a lateral hole 5a arranged in the joint part, 5 so as to be engaged with the hook part 7a is formed of a cut-off part between a female mold and a male mold moving along the pulling direction of the joint part 5. In this way, the number of assembly processes for the lighting 1 for a vehicle is reduced and productivity is improved, and also its appearance can be improved.
