To provide a washing/drying machine capable of drying clothes with low power consumption, and few wrinkles.
The washing/drying machine includes: a first air path 9 having a first outlet 8 opened in a drum with a large cross-sectional area for passing air so that the pressure loss is small; a second air path 11 having a second outlet 10 opened in the drum with a small cross-sectional area for passing air for blowing high-pressure air at high speed; air path switching means 12 for switching the passage of drying air either to the first pair path 9 or to the second air path 11. The air path is switched on the way of a drying step in the washing/drying machine. Since clothes are dried in one blowing portion 4 and dried on the way with a large volume of air consuming less power than high-speed air, the total power consumption is small and drying with few wrinkles in the clothes can be achieved. In a dewatering step, the air path is switched to reduce the volume of air circulating in the air path, so that the air loss caused by the high-speed rotation of the drum 1 in the dewatering step can be suppressed, and the power consumption can be further reduced.
