Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the magnetic head oscillating device using a bimorph and having a strain gauge as a position sensor to detect movement matching the movement of the tip of a magnetic head until beyond a mechanical resonant point of the bimorph.
CONSTITUTION: The device is composed of the bimorph 1 having the magnetic head 5 at one end and the other end fixed to fixing bases 2 and 3 and the strain gauges 9 bonded onto both sides of this bimorph 1. Then, the strain gauges 9 are arranged on both sides of the bimorph 1 at an antiresonant point where strain becomes zero at the time of forced oscillation.
