Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control the generation of warpage on a magnet roll, to make molding cycle short and to increase the life of a mold by a method wherein a molded body is led out relatively against a mold which is opened in longitudinal direction of a molded body, and the molding body is released from the mold.
CONSTITUTION: The molding space 3a of a magnet roll M is formed by junctioning cylindrical molds 1 and 2, which is divided into the front and the rear parts in longitudinal direction of the objective molded body, having no parting surface on the inner surface, is formed. Then, magnet material is cast in the above-mentioned space 3a, and after the material has been hardened by cooling, the mold 1 is released by moving it in longitudinal direction. The molded body M, which is hardened by cooling, is released from the mold by pushing out in longitudinal direction or by pulling it out. As a parting surface is not present in the inner surface of the molds 1 and 2, partial abrasive wear of the inner surface of the molds can be prevented and the life of the mold can be prolonged. Also, as the molded body M is pushed out or pulled out in the axial direction, the warpage of the molded body M generated when it is released from the mold can also be prevented.
