Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide brazing satisfactory between the two heat-exchange parts in a refrigerant evaporator having a main heat-exchange part for the heat exchange between refrigerant and air and an auxiliary heat-exchange part for the refrigerant to refrigerant heat exchange.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary heat-exchange part 8 and a win heat-exchange part 7 are integrally put together and held, the former above the latter and the latter under the former, by jigs A, B, C. As a result, in holes formed in the end plate positioned highest in the auxiliary heat-exchange part 8 pipe connectors 13 can be fitted and held under their own weight. Whereas, with no fins 11, the auxiliary heat-exchange part 8 has a large heat capacity and increase of its temperature is retarded as compared with the main heat-exchange part 7, the main heat-exchange part 7, positioned lower, enables heat to transfer through the vertical jigs C to carrier-holding shelves. On the other hand, the auxiliary heat-exchange part 8, positioned above, makes it difficult for heat to transfer to carrier-holding shelves. Therefore, the increase of temperature is leveled out between the two heat-exchange parts 7, 8 and brazing to integrate the whole can be provided satisfactorily.
