To reduce the manufacturing cost by using usually discarded waste paper as a raw material and at the same time, enable the recycled waste paper to be again easily disposed of as a totally useless scrap at a low cost after the use in such a manner that it does not pollute an environment.
A mat-like paper material consisting of paper obtained by crushing and making fibrous waste paper coated with synthetic resin and shredded synthetic resin, formed to the specified thickness, and a thick paper material coated with the synthetic resin are laminated over. each other to form a laminated material. This laminated material is molded into a molding blank of such a shape as to be best suited for a paper-made weighing instrument. Next, the molding blank is heated to melt the synthetic resin in the mat-like material and the paper material. Further, the molding blank so heated is clamped under pressure by a pair of molding dies into a compression-deformed cup of a specified capacity integrally formed with a handle part extended from the top of the cup part. At the same time, the molten synthetic resin is cured into a papermade weighing instrument.
