To provide a double-sided metal-clad laminate which has the unprecedentedly thin thickness of an insulating layer so as to serve as a basic material for the manufacture of a print wiring board, and which is equipped with sufficient interlaminar insulation properties.
In this manufacturing method for the double-sided metal-clad laminate wherein conductive metallic layers are provided on both the sides of the insulating layer including a skeletal material, a cured resin layer is provided on one side of metallic foil; a semi-cured resin layer of one piece of first resin-coated metallic foil and that of the other piece of first resin-coated metallic foil are press-molded in the state of being superposed together so as to be brought into contact with each other, by using the two pieces of first resin-coated metallic foil where the semi-cured resin layer including the skeleton material is provided on the cured resin layer; and thus, the pieces of first resin-coated metallic foil are stuck on each other.
