Abstract:
To obtain a metal coated fiber body keeping excellent corrosion resistance and high whiteness and having excellent coating strength.
This metal coated fiber body has metal under coating on the surface of a base fiber and then fluorine compound coating on the metal under coating, and is preferably heat treated at not lower than the crystallization temperature of the base fiber and lower than the melting temperature after forming the metal coating. Consequently, the metal coated fiber body is used in a field in which a conventional metal coated fiber body can not be applied because of insufficient adhesivity of metal coating and color fastness.
