To enable larger quantities of a material to be evenly colored in a given period of time by spraying liquid on the material loosed three dimensionally by the projecting pins on spiral blades arranged in an apparatus.

Ribbon blades 1 as screw blades are arranged in a U-shaped trough 2, and the ribbon blades 1 are fixed on a shaft 3 supported by bearings 4. Pins 10 for loosing a material are attached on the inner circular surfaces of the ribbon blades with their projecting part toward the extruding side of the ribbon blades 1, at regular intervals of eight pins per revolution over the length to an outlet 9 from about one and a half revolution away from an inlet 8. A material charged from the inlet 8 is loosened three-dimensionally by the pins 10 and the loosened material is sprayed with liquid from nozzles equipped on the upper side of the trough 2.
