To provide a method and a device for automatically supplying screws capable of stably and smoothly driving a screw supply drum to rotate by preventing a trouble such as a rotation stop due to a screw caught by a notched housing recessed part when continuously supplying multiple screws stored in a screw hopper in order, while rotating the screw supply drum provided with notched housing recessed parts with the predetermined interval in the peripheral part thereof.
The peripheral part of the screw supply drum 18 is surrounded by drum guides 42a and 42b without a contact, and chamfering is performed to an opening edge 41a of the notched housing recessed part 40 at least in rear in the rotating direction facing to the drum guides 42a and 42b so that the peripheral edge of a head of the screw is not wedged. With this structure, when picking up the screw from the notched housing recessed part 40, the screw is prevented from being caught in one part thereof between the opening edge 41a and the drum guides 42a and 42b or a bottom surface 16a of the screw hopper 16.
