Abstract:

To provide a forming method and a forming device of a screw blade by which a metallic sheet is formed into a screw blade having a prescribed pitch by small force in spite of the size of the metallic sheet.

By cutting a doughnut-like metallic sheet 11 having a prescribed inside diameter a and an outside diameter b in the radial direction of the metallic sheet 11, a pair of cut end parts 13, 14 are formed. By respectively holding one side and the other side of a pair of the cut end parts 13, 14 by first and second holding means 15, 16 and relatively moving the second holding means 16 in the direction of the axial center of the doughnut-like metallic sheet 11 to the first holding means 15, a spiral having the prescribed pitch is formed on the metallic sheet 11. Next, the held parts held with the first and the second holding means 15, 16 of the metallic sheet 12 formed into a spiral shape are cut.
