PURPOSE: To provide the method and device for information processing which effectively utilizes resources of a processor on other computers connected to a communication line with a minimum overhead.
CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a CPU load state detection part 250 which detects the load state of the CPU 202 of a 1st group 201, an other- CPU load state acquisition part 250 which acquires the load states of CPUs 302, 303, and 402 of respective groups 301 and 401 other than the 1st group, a group selection part 250 which selects one of the respective groups other than the 1st group on the basis of the load state detected by the CPU load state detection part 250 and the respective acquired load states of the CPUs of the respective groups other than the 1st group, a CPU lending request part 250 which makes a request to lend the CPU from the selected group, and an external CPU execution part 350 which selects the CPU to be lent on the basis of the CPU lending request and allows the selected CPU to execute a specific process, thereby decentralizing the load on the CPUs.
