Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a negative electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte battery exhibiting high discharge capacity and excellent high rate discharge characteristics in a configuration using a negative electrode active material of a Li-containing metal oxide system; a negative electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte battery; and manufacturing slurry.

In manufacturing a negative electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte battery having a negative electrode active material layer of a Li-containing metal oxide system formed on a collector, a process (a first process, a coating process) of coating manufacturing slurry of pH 7 or higher and 10 or lower containing a negative electrode active material from which extra lithium is removed, dispersant, and a binder on the collector, and a process (a second process, a drying process) of forming the negative electrode active material layer by drying the coated slurry are performed.
