Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a zirconia-based electrolytic sheet for fuel batteries which is low in breakage rate, and achieves superior flatness by reducing the flash and warpage caused in the sheet.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a zirconia-based electrolytic sheet for fuel batteries comprises the steps of: (1) preparing a laminate of ceramic spacers and zirconia-based green sheets by alternately laminating the ceramic spacers and the zirconia-based green sheets on each other; (2) disposing a weight on the green sheet forming the top layer of the laminate; and (3) baking the green sheets with the weight left put on the top layer. In the weight-disposing step (2), the weight is disposed to be present right above the whole edge portion of the top layer green sheet in a vertical direction, but not present right above at least one portion of the top layer green sheet other than the edge portion in the vertical direction.
