Abstract:
PURPOSE: To find pre-load which in obtainable at the time of completion, easily and correctly before the completion of assembly.
CONSTITUTION: An inner ring 8 is pushed in to such an extent that pre-load cannot be imparted as shown in (A), and an outer ring 11 is moved up as shown in (B) to obtain the displacement quantity L1 at that time. The inner ring 8 is press-fitted into a specified position as shown in (C), and the press-fitted quantity L2 at that time is obtained. The difference (L2-L1) between the press- fitted quantity L2 and the displacement quantity L1 is a pre-load clearance. The automation of measuring work and 100% inspection can be thereby attained.
