To provide a method for producing a m- and/or p-dialkylbenzene dihydroperoxide by the oxidation of m- and/or p-dialkylbenzene, having a step to separate the objective component in the oxidation reaction liquid and a step to return at least a part of the residual liquid after separation to the oxidation reactor, and having excellent effect to prevent the lowering of the capacity of the oxidation reactor while suppressing the loss of active components.
The method for producing a m- and/or p-dialkylbenzene dihydroperoxide by the oxidation of m- and/or p-dialkylbenzene contains a step to separate the objective component in the oxidation reaction liquid and a step to return at least a part of the residual liquid after separation to the oxidation reactor, and the oil layer of a liquid obtained by condensing the vent gas of the oxidation reactor is purged from the system.
