Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a highly heat conductive graphite body having high shape retention during heat treatment.SOLUTION: A method for producing a graphite body comprises performing a heat treatment in an inert gas in a range of 1000 to 4000°C using a polyimide-benzoxazole resin composition as a raw material, wherein the polyimide-benzoxazole resin composition is: a polyimide-benzoxazole resin film having a thickness of between 3 μm and 200 μm; a laminate having a thickness of 50 to 10000 μm, obtained by laminating a plurality of polyimide-benzoxazole resin films; or a molded product obtained by pressure-heating molding a powder containing 50% by mass or more of the polyimide benzoxazole resin. The resulting graphite body almost maintains its pre-heat treatment shape and has a high thermal conductivity and thermal diffusion coefficient.SELECTED DRAWING: None
