Abstract:
To provide a method for producing rice powder, capable of producing bread crumb-like rice powder as easily as possible from rice such as brown rice and polished rice.
This method for producing the rice powder includes an extruding process of conveying in a cylinder 5 which has an extrusion hole 5d of a diameter smaller than that of rice grain on a closed end surface 5c, rice to the end surface 5c with a screw conveyor 6, and thickening rice on an end surface part by the conveyance followed by extruding from the extrusion hole while smashing; and a crushing process of making rice powder by crushing treated rice R after the extruding process.
